they will check the tent. They checked mine last year. Took it out of the bag and patted all along it to see if we were hiding anything in there.

    See above.

Not only that, the comment had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the topic being discussed in this thread.

I'll ship you a lifetime supply of everclear and kool-aid for 500 USD, prepaid.

Seriously though? Those are the prices? How does that work? Is this a conservative government in power type thing? I mean, this is Australia, right? A land literally founded by outlaws? Why is there not a national outrage over this? Better yet, why haven't you started one?

What does non-imported alcohol cost, for what it's worth? Inquiring minds want to know.

Food4Less on Monroe (I think) is where I bought alcohol. It is right down the street from Empire Polo Club

I live in SLC, UTAH, one of the most conservative states in the union, and for a fifth of Jack Danials, which I believe is 750 ml, I pay about $15.

You know the saying "taxation without representation is tyrrany" well here we say "taxation without representation is Utah" because all the people who make the laws about alcohol dont even consume it (MORMONS). Yeah I know it sucks.

Well back in the day you used to be able to get a case of beer for about $24. Then it went to about $30. Then around $35. Now you can expect to pay about $40 for a case of beer. Its sickening. A 6 pack is about $15.
We get royally rorted with beer and cigarettes here. Pack of 25 durries is about $10-11 depending where you buy them. Beers in pubs are about $4.

Yeah it's kinda ironic that we are all beer swilling convicts, and yes we are under conservative government - beer drinkers actually vote for the conservatives cause they are more racist than stingy.

Local liquor is pretty much beer - we import all the spirits. There is cheap shit for about $30 a bottle, if youre lucky, of some really crappy bourbon. Then beam around 35-40, smirnoff vodka and the likes around the same.
We get raped for alcohol but its also a pretty long journey for the scotch to take, so that might help with the prices being so high. $90 a bottle is standard price though, $70 for a litre duty free (laphroaig) and lagavulin is about $100 bottle.

I'm gonna drink in style in America for sure. That means no american beer ;-)

go to Rite Aid for your best prices of beer and liquor.

    1. Modelo (mexican dark) will fuck you up good.

    2. Corona - (dont forget the limes)....avoid the salt cuz that serves as a laxative.

    LIQUOR

    1. Patron tequila (silver) - goes down smooth and will hit the spot. Hey, you're in california, drink some tequila. AVOID JOSE CUERVO!!!! thats for trailer trash and high school students!!!
