booze is dirt cheap in America compared to Canada. I got a 12 of COLD Labatt Blue for 10 bucks in Wisconsin and a 40 of Smirnoff for like 30 bucks

i get an 18 pack for $8 though its sucky beer( sorry)

For reference, you can get a bottle of jim beam here for about $35. Laphroaig is about $90 a bottle. Bowmore is about $55.

Food4Less on Monroe (I think) is where I bought alcohol. It is right down the street from Empire Polo Club

Well back in the day you used to be able to get a case of beer for about $24. Then it went to about $30. Then around $35. Now you can expect to pay about $40 for a case of beer. Its sickening. A 6 pack is about $15.
We get royally rorted with beer and cigarettes here. Pack of 25 durries is about $10-11 depending where you buy them. Beers in pubs are about $4.

Yeah it's kinda ironic that we are all beer swilling convicts, and yes we are under conservative government - beer drinkers actually vote for the conservatives cause they are more racist than stingy.

Local liquor is pretty much beer - we import all the spirits. There is cheap shit for about $30 a bottle, if youre lucky, of some really crappy bourbon. Then beam around 35-40, smirnoff vodka and the likes around the same.
We get raped for alcohol but its also a pretty long journey for the scotch to take, so that might help with the prices being so high. $90 a bottle is standard price though, $70 for a litre duty free (laphroaig) and lagavulin is about $100 bottle.

I'm gonna drink in style in America for sure. That means no american beer ;-)

1. Modelo (mexican dark) will fuck you up good.

2. Corona - (dont forget the limes)....avoid the salt cuz that serves as a laxative.
