It got me to thinking... Does this mean that Coachella will go back to a 2 day format in order to support the East Coast Festival?

I mean, I think that, financially, it's going to have to, especially because there's no way GV could afford to attract 4 or 5 headlining acts and/or keep it original.

Coachella's finances will stay the same. Coachella East will receive a new budget. Goldenvoice is owned by AEG Live, and they have more than enough money to fund a new festival, and I'm sure they'd want to considering how profitable they are at the moment.

Dude, its still gonna be 3 days, I doubt it ever goes back to that. Relax, they got deep enough pockets to even start another festival last year, so now we got a 3rd.


I think this is going too be fun, if we dont get some acts at coachella, we coudl travel to the east coast and catch them there. And stagecoach, that would be a cool trio of things to do each year from now on.
