Book festival for authors of lesbian fiction coming to Palm Springs

The Second Annual Palm Springs Book Festival for authors of lesbian fiction will be held Feb. 14 - 18.

The event, sponsored by Casitas Laquita Resort in Palm Springs and Bold Strokes Books - an independent book publisher, will offer book readings and signings at various Palm Springs locations including the Palm Springs Public Library, Mixie's Bar, Casitas Laquita Resort and Queen of Hearts Resort.

"This event offers the opportunity for members of the publishing community to interact with readers in a venue that offers far more than just a celebration of our literature," said Joanna Funaro, co-owner of Casitas Laquita Resort.
