I only caught his last song at Coachella and that was enough to get me to a couple of his LA shows since then. The new stuff sounds cool, but I'm still a bigger fan of his "solo" live stuff when he creates an ass-kicking rave with his mouth and samplers.

wow. i can't believe it. i actually like his new stuff a lot. i just received the cd yesterday and thought what the hell, i'm not a fan of the guy but i'll give it a try. it's really fucking good. i don't know if he changed a lot from the last few times i saw him, or if i've just grown up cause it's been a few years since i last saw him. but i'm totally digging this album. he actually reminds me of taylor hick from american idol. i feel like this is the sort of album taylor could have made if A.I. had let him. sounds like his voice, too. wow. jamie lidell. who would have thought.

I never listened in depthly to him. I actually havent listened that much at all to his recorded stuff. Just every time I saw him I was like ugh. Who would have thought was more who would have thought I'd actually like Jamie Lidell.

I was disappointed with that new song the first time I heard it. Seems like Jamie is taking a less funky direction for the new album, but I'll give it another chance.

Finally listed to "The Ring" and it is funky fresh. I am now excited about the new album and will be seeing Jamie again this June.
