Monday morning Riverside traffic???

My plane leaves Ontario @ 2:40 on Monday. Last year I drove and seem to remember some fucked up traffic from Indio through the Riverside area. My question(s) is this:

What is the traffic like from Indio to the Ontario Airport on a Monday morning?
With traffic, how much extra time should I leave myself to make a 2:40pm plane?

BTW- if anyone needs a ride from the Ontario airport to Coachella on Thursday around 2pm or going back to the airport on Monday drop me a line...

Theres still construction around riverside past pigeon way and its always pretty bad from 11am to 2pm i would give myself like 3 hours ahead...better safe then sorry

yea man...i would suggest taking the 10fwy. if you take the 60 through riverside, there is a ton of construction near the 91/215/60 interchange, and there is ALWAYS traffic. go with GPS advice and leave as early as possible.

the good news is, Ontario is an easy airport with minimal hassle...compared to say, LAX.

Traffic isn't too bad after 9:30/10am but it's god awful at 4:30 until 6pm. Don't take the 60! 10 is the easist and less stresfull.

I'd leave Indio no later than 10:00 am.
Traffic might slow a bit dropping down into Redlands but its usually minimal.
At the bottom of the grade going west, traffic opens thanks to a few more lanes. Stay in one of the 3 left lanes so you don't accidentally get on the 215.
People do stupid shit at the last second right in that area. From San Bernagetto on its smooth sailing.
The only real problem areas would be from Yuciapa thru Redlands.
You'll see by all the skid marks on the road....lots of wrecks in that area.

2hrs. will get you there with no backups....but shit happens.
96.7 KCAL has good music as well as traffic reports .

great advice. avoid the 60 at all costs. the 10 will take you straight to the airport but leave early like gps says to consider commuter traffic on monday.

commuter traffic should be good and done by late morning, figure most people have to be to work by 9am, so after 10am should be smooth sailing.
