I have been monitoring flights from SLC to ONT and they just dropped to $89 each way...I may jump on this. I am weary of flying with all my camping stuff though.

Funny you should post this, I just purchased my tickets on Southwest from Seattle to Ontario for $243.50. Add the cost of renting a car and it comes out about the same as driving from Seattle, I'm stoked, Southwest is awesome.
You have to travel on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Coachellla is right in the middle.

Sign up for www.farecast.com. It was accurate when I used it and allowed me to wait until rates dropped. It's a pretty cool website.

If you guys are finding cheap tickets, jump on them. Prices are going to increase due to higher fuel costs, the busy summer season, and talks of major airline mergers-which means fewer choices and higher prices.
Debate: Flight from Sac ($140) + rental ($130) + gas ($30) =$300. I could drive myself and pack whatever I want for 75% of that. It's an 8 hour drive, though. Who the helll wants to do that after 3 days @ Coachy?

Since I am moving to San Diego in May....I have to fly in to San Diego, from NY to get a place and go on some interviews the week before Coachella. We are driving from SD to Indio.
We got a flight from NY for $305. Not a bad price for us.

i use them if jetblue doesn't fly to where i am going. if given the chance, i will always take jetblue before any other airline. even virgin america looks good now.
basically, what had happened was....
Coachella 07, 08, 09, 10
I did this from seattle last year with a friend. Going there wasn't too bad because we were all excited but coming back was painful. Especially when you camp and weren't able to take a shower after the rage set![]()
On the plus side we were able to transport buds without worrying about airport security, which I have to figure out this year... pro & cons ya know?
