Customs are amazing. Also great because you can change filters depending on environment.

I use non-disposable Hear-os, and they are pretty good. Customs cost like $150+, don't they?

Spoiler: she gets a new strain of VD, rendering her hands arthritic so we're no longer subjected to her incessant boring blather.

I ran into theses guys while working the NAMM show

I worked all four days in the TRX Cymbals booth and went to see Muse at Staples Saturday night and my hearing and voice were intact come Monday morning. These are the flattest attenuation I've heard in a non fitted earplug. Quite comfortable too!

I go to concerts all the time and there's never been a time wear my ears hurt from the sound but then again I might've already f'd up my hearing to begin with since I'm always wearing headphones full blast. But on the positive side, I don't care much for what anyone has to say anyway, so it's not really a negative. Plus kinda feels like it defeats the purpose of a concert, unless you're literally next to the stage or the performers themselves you really shouldnt NEED them.

Definitely gonna get some since I plan on being up front for Dinosaur Jr. I was also like 75% deaf until i was five, my hearing was equivalent to that under water. All i remember is many nights with excruciating pain and blood coming out of my ears. I had many surgeries on them (don't know what kind) so i'm pretty good now, although all my friends do make fun of me for saying WHAT? all the time. I don't even notice it aha.

I only wear mine at at festivals when you are exposed to loud music for 6+ hours at a time. 20 bucks on amazon, well worth it.
