What's with all the Death From Above 1979 talk?

Has anybody else been hearing this? I've been hearing people saying there are rumors that DFA 1979 are gonna reunite this year. As much as I would love this, I really don't think it's happening but I'll keep my fingers crossed, just in case.

I saw them about seven times, each time they played Houston. They always blew me away.

They came thru with some good bands too, Turing Machine, The Red Light Sting, Whirlwind Heat, The Washdown, Panthers (ex-Orchid), Vietnam, Nine Inch Nails and tons others but I was usually wasted.

DON'T RUB IT IN. I am very sensative about the fact I may very well never get the chance to see them, and I gave up a couple of great oportinuties to see them.
With that being said, WAY to early. But I have faith it will happen someday. I hope you plan on attending Coachella 2012.

i wish they would. that would get me and my friends there for sure. they opened up for qotsa and nin when i saw them and were amazing. i have this theory that they broke up after only one full length because they were too great and rocked to hard to sustain themselves. but thats just me

For some reason i barely remember their set, I saw them in 03 opening for Alexisonfire/Billy Talent and just remember being interested in their logo.

Saw their last show ever, and it was pretty effin good.
They were playing in an arena(opening for NIN) but I got really close to the stage and was amazed
