My best friend and I are camping. I'm coming from FL and she's coming from NC. Neither of us have any idea what we are doing with the camping. We're just bringing a tent and some wine and hoping for the best!

i´m doing the camping thing! Although its kind of scary, this being my first coachella and all. I´l be alone, even though a friend is camping outside, but I would rather hang out onsite.

Definitely camping - it's the whole point of a 3 day festival! Curse the poor soul who must work afterward, but I am definitely surprised at the amount of pansies who refuse to camp despite the low availability of places to stay! The fact that the camping ticket is separate is a laugh aswell. 3 day pass = camping! Deal with it!

Me and a scottish mate from oxford are definitely camping and up for maximum hijinks around the place. Got a pissweak tent at the moment - might need to invest in something a little larger with more airflow by the sound of the desert heat in the morning :-S

I hope the toilets aren't rank and there better be decent food. I want lots of mexican. You are so close to mexico so give me a burrito!

At this very moment 2 of my friends and myself (waiting on a couple others to sack up) are rollin outta Bakersfield,CA.. just shy of 4 hrs north of Indio. I love camping... 2nd year for 2 of us. I really cannot wait.

third time camping for me... at least 10 of us. this time, we are determined to stop doing the whole "getting to indio at around midnight so we can wait around for 2 hours to get inside and then set up camp at 2 a.m when we're all cranky and tired and waking up our neighbors" bull$hit.

Sorry,no this is just a stab at a lame joke(because of the apparent antipathy towards them).
I actually have met several of them and seen them live alot during the Eighties,and don't harbor any Anti-Chili Pepper feelings at all(and they might very well serve a useful purpose on Saturday depending on where and when the Decemberists are slotted..)
I'll actually be reading palms in the Gogol Bordello camp...
