twiggy rejoins marilyn manson

bassist Twiggy Ramirez (real name: Jeordie White) has rejoined MARILYN MANSON for the group's upcoming North American tour. Joining Manson and Twiggy on stage for the U.S. leg of the "Rape of the World Tour" will be Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday, and Ginger Fish. Tim Skold has amicably split with Manson, but future collaborations aren't being ruled out between the two.

i know most of the people here couldnt give two shits.


but i think its fucking awesome. if marilyn manson is the heart of that band then jeordie was certainly the lungs. i cant fucking wait to see them

i've been to a few of his shows. Naturally, the closer you are to the stage the rougher it tends to be. I've been in hardcore pits before, ratm pits and many other bands so i have a pretty vast frame of refernce to really answer the question, don't know if your gonna debate going based on what you hear

Do you usually go in pits? who's have you been in? i'll try to give you a good equivalent.

yeah dude seriously. i guess he'd be playing keyboards on this tour? and is twiggy playing guitar? cuz it looks like that other dude plays bass, i dunno. no matter what im stoked as hell. the only thing that could make this better would be bringing back john 5, but my guess is they offered and he already had commitments to finish the zombie tour. wes borland woulda been a cool choice of a guitarist as well

personally i think he's a really good performer, been consistantly good each time i've seen him . i don't really run out to buy his cd's but when he comes around i've always considered seeing him.

I saw Chris Vrenna drum for Gnarls Barkley at Coachella in 06, of course, I didn't know it was him at the time because he looked like a witch, but somebody noted it later. He also drummed for Nine Inch Nails way back in the day. He'll probably drum again. I saw Twiggy play bass for A Perfect Circle and he was awesome.

that was me who pointed that out cuz i realizd that the live band for gnarls included both members of tweaker. yeah but ginger fish plays drums and he's still in the band. so as i speculated earlier i think he'll be playing keys.

and yeah i know twiggy was their bassist nd for apc and nin (which i saw both) but i know he plays both. i suppose we will see? maybe it will be like musical chairs btu with instruments

I've seen it live. Tessa can attest... it was anything but fun. Seriously, they were probably the worst live act I have ever seen. And I even saw Milli Vanilli live!

Yeah those albums are my favorite. I am going to listen to them right now, it's been a while. Especially since Robert Smith and Johnny Marr contributed to a couple songs. Those guys are big inspirations to me as well.

i saw him at the wiltern a few years ago and it seemed pretty mellow. we were up in the first row of the balcony and didn't see too much madness down below. i have never bought one of his albums, but it truly was an amazing show to see. i am considering going again. opening band was named "slunt", figure out what words make up that name the best was all the picketers outside telling us we were going to hell, i'm sure they will be there again.
