I'm not actually sure that I would love for everyone on the board to know my full real name, favorite books and movies, and the identities of all of my friends and family members... but I might be a little paranoid. I'm sure that notorious board personalities who shall remain nameless definitely wouldn't abuse that information if given the chance.

Facebook is far and away better than that MySpace shit, but Facebook applications have been getting WAY out of hand. I returned home from my trip with 50 application invites. I just started deleting all the ones I had on. I'm keeping it basic.

Facebook better not start whoring out as bad as Myspace does.

I totally agree. I'm sure most people would. I don't even look at the applications anymore. I will admit I have a few... but ones like 'video' and 'i like'... that I went and got all on my own... not from the relentless invites from friends.

Artists can have profiles associated with Facebook, too, actually. A good friend of mine is a musician, and he's got an iLike account that allows him to share his music via Facebook. Just in case you didn't already know about that.

I don't actually have a myspace, but I have in the past had one. I have a hard time running the site sometimes when I want to look at a new band or something.
