i believe the potassium in bananas is what helps.

i tried those hangover pills a year or two ago and they really worked! you take them before you start drinking and then every couple hours or 3-4 drinks throughout the night. the hard part is remembering to take them when you are 6 drinks in, which used to be about 2 hours for me. i actually started setting an alarm on my phone.

yes, it's the potassium in the bananas that help replace the potassium you lost while drinking. Also they are easy to eat and don't require any preparation, which is a big plus when you're head is splitting open.

If you can stand the taste of V-8 (and I can't, by the way, so I don't blame you), you might try one of those as well. Vitamins minerals etc. B vitamins are also good for liver health. They won't make you Superman after a night of drinking but it'll speed recovery time.

I shouldnt have had that last drink. I know my limits, but I guess that one over did it.
