I would consider Wolfmother to touch on stoner rock and Boris certainly has their doom side though they have plenty of other sides as well. Other than that I don't get these suggestions at all.

Anal Cunt is a serious band, saw them at the knitt a while back, great band i use to have an anal cunt tribute band called anal stimulation back in the day, it was so sick.

I'll second the Sleep, Om and Sunn O))) recommendations.

Also get some early Monster Magnet, because that shit is absolutely fantastic stoner metal. Earth is the End all, be all as far as doom metal goes, but I feel like Sunn O))) has worked beyond Doom to make some amazing ambient metal, so that's just me.
