    Default If they weren't dead...

Who would you get to play at Coachella? And what stage would they be on?

The two that come to mind right away for me are...

    Joe Strummer
    - The Clash headlining the mainstage (because there is logistically no other place for them.)
    - The Mescaleros closing the outdoor theatre. I honestly could not think of a more amazing way to end the night.

    Johnny Cash
    - playing at sunset on the mainstage.

Obviously, I could name many more, but I see these as being amazing acts to see at Coachella. Actually, in the atmosphere of Coachella, I would rather see Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros then the Clash, but I certainly wouldn't turn down a Clash performance.
    Discuss.

Johnny Cash would do a Sunset Mane Stage set at Stagecoach.

And you want The Clash, cause they are the only band that matters.

    FUCK. Thanks Supre.

Johnny Cash could for sure play Coachella. But if were alive and played stagecoach... I would probably go. GV would probably get him to play both though.

    Johnny'd fucking headline both, man...

I told NMH this, but I might considering murdering Mike Joyce if it brings us closer to a Smiths-that-matter reunion...

Actual dead bands? Nirvana, for one, the REAL Alice in Chains, oh...

    JEFF BUCKLEY.

    YESSSSS....
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th

Going to Weekend 1 of Coachella 2014

I'd like to see how Our American Cousin ends...
I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
