Last night I went and met my sister for drinks for my birthday and she informed me that my present is she is taking me to the Nine Inch Nails/Jane's Addiction concert and that Tommyboy will be coming to town for the show. I have never seen NIN in concert and am VERY excited and happy about that.

Now I just have to get T to make my dream from the other night come true and wear gold hot pants with sparkles and blonde feathered hair!!!

OMG I JUST DISCOVERED SOUTHWEST RAPID REWARDS!!! i will have a free flight after coachella, AWESOME. GOD BLESS OUR ADMIN WHO SHOWED THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

getting out of the hospital in a couple hours, 2 weeks is far too long in here, but it was needed this time.

in that time my son has broken ground on his first tooth and last night said "mama" for the first time, his first word. i told my daughter that i will be coming home and can't wait to sleep in my bed. she basically said "i'm going to sleep in mommy's bed, you can sleep in anna's bed". and then she smiled the most evil smile and laughed.

I just realized the cooking burn on my hand from last night has taken on a ritual modification look because it's a perfect triangle, but I don't care. The vog is gone, the tradewinds are back, and it's a glorious 81 degrees outside. It's Friday and in 3 hours I get to leave work and go down to First Fridays in Chinatown and drink and dance and generally make a fool of myself.

I plan to spend the weekend tweaking my resume and applying for about a million and a half jobs that don't involve dealing with 7 year-olds on a daily basis. I have a strange fondness of rewriting/reformatting my resume, and I'm kind of looking forward to it.

oh man. why is this funny to me?

im in moderate to good at the moment, the reason being im planning on getting drunk later and runnin around san diego for beautiful women tonight. so im just keeping my mood balanced and moderate at the moment. feels good. maybe i wont have too much fun tonight, and just keep it moderate.

No, but my nonprofit arts administration job has somehow morphed into me overseeing a summer program for kids, and being there all day every day to do so.

I'm grateful to have a paycheck but it's sooo not my thing. I'm waiting for the company's board of trustees to meet and discuss moving me to a different part of the company, but if they don't then I seriously need to get out of here. Hence the playing with resumes all weekend

i'm in a good mood because i have officially decided to stay at my job and not take another position as i'm finally seeing a light at the end of this stressful tunnel. next week we finally talk about how we're going to transition all the accounting crap i have no business doing and about becomming a manager in the next few months. and i'm going to the last nin show tonight with pants!!!
