I am just not a pet type person. I have a dog and 2 cats, but if it were up to me I wouldn't have any. And my son has wanted a snake for years but I refuse. But this little mouse isn't too bad. Reminds me of the movie Mrs Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. I loved that book and movie.

Seriously, An American Tale is one of the few cartoons from my past that I own on DVD. The movie is an all-time classic as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah we are going there to load up my sisters friends shit to drive her back here. So I probably won't have alot of time but maybe we can meet up for dinner/drinks. People have to eat at some point...

I think I may have seen An American Tale as a kid, but I don't remember much about it, so I need a re-viewing as well.

edit: as I think of the movie title, the song "Somewhere Out There" is running through my mind. Was that featured in the movie? God, I have a weird memory.

i just watched a really lame movie, but it had a good ending ...

this martial arts dude was searching for this mythical book, that if you opened it up, you found the answer to everything .... so he fights all these creatures and people and finally finds the book .... he opens it up, and it is just 4 pages, each of them is just a mirror .... i thought that was pretty cool .. cr****

Even though I hate my job lately I just got my bonus calculation paperwork which will be deposited just in time for my trip Friday... Apparently last year was a good year for our company, even though the economy is shit. I got 125% of my bonus. It will be a GREAT trip!!! I think I may have to go buy myself something Purdy.

i got hooked up at the end of the year. like usual. but there is talk about this years bonus not being so healthy. yours might have the same effect next year. enjoy it now, i did.

Yeah we have already been informed that we aren't getting raises this year, and I am guessing next years bonus will not be very healthy since we are about to do a second round of layoffs. I will surely enjoy it right now though.

i'm still waiting to see if i will get one. if so, i'll have a retro check dating back to september as my review was due back then. *crosses fingers this will happen and that it will happen in time for coachella*

They are not giving cost of living raises that they give every year, usually between 3 - 5 percent. But because I got a promotion I am still holding out some hope that I will get a raise in April. It might make me like my job a little bit more... MAYBE
