Saw them in '92 at Slane Castle. FNM were on before them and tore up the place getting everyone into a great mood. Then we waited ... and waited .... and waited ... and then someone realised that flattened paper Coke cups made kick ass frisbees so the sky went *red* with flying cups. Someone came on the PA and said that if it didn't stop, the show was getting canned so it stopped.

Then we waited some more. Some folks started making pyramids (not unlike the cover of U2:Go home) and that brought out the PA guy again. Eventually they showed up but at that point it was just a drag to see them tbh.

at V-fest this year, all the Velvet Revolver fans were a bunch of meatheads. But they were actually kinda well behaved (from what I saw; i stayed in the dance test mostly, which is most definitely not where they were). I watched VR for 5 minutes (mainly to get pics of Slash) and that was that.

Coachella knows how to rock hard so they get bands like RagerrGRRR, Tool and NIN. Coachella knows retro and electronica. Coachella loves the hipster bands and the out of the ordinary and yes, Coachella even does the Jam Bands like My Morning Jacket and does hip hop as well.
