Those of us lucky to be there will never forget the Coachella 07 Hot Chip Oven Tent.

Fuck, it was hot! And me in heavy wool of a kilt nature. I tell ya, the Gold Bond Powder did its job that afternoon!

I was first introduced to Hot Chip at Coachella. I was working at the sound booth during their set and I just fell in love. We're Looking For A Lot of Love is definitely my favorite track off the new album. Can't wait to see them at the El Rey.

Yeah the new cd is pretty good. And it was a freaking oven in Mojave, lucky me for being up frotn to at least get soem air. Then PB & J followed and it cooled off, but then !!! was up and it got hot again.

By far the hottest concert experience I have ever had. I remember walking out of the tent after the set and having it feel like a cool breeze of arctic air, when in reality, it was nearly 100 degrees out that day.

The year before that at Lolla there were only about 50 of us watching Hot Chip in the middle of the afternoon on a side stage. By the end of the set, there were hundreds of people behind us. Everyone who was walking past stopped in amazement and started dancing.

I have heard Hot Chip is a great deal sealer with girls who like to snort mdma. No idea if thats true or not, but thought I would share.

One of the hottest experiences of my time on planet Earth. i was taking pictures and had to do some serious manuvering to get into the section in front of the stage before the 3 song limit was up. It was a bit of an acrobatic struggle with the thick crowd, camera stuff, and eventual rolling myself over the barrier. Once i crouched down with the other picture takers, my pores just opened up and a waterfall of sweat just rained down my face. i did have to try to keep it mellow because i thought the potential to pass out was there. Hot Chip fucking kicked ass (as that clip above shows). Here's some of the pictures i took:

Wow great pictures, I can see my buddy perfectly in 2 of them, I was standing right next to him but no go on my face. Damn we were close, and it was very hot in there for hot chip.

I jumped out of there afterwards by the front balcony and remember basically collapsing for air.
