My cat scratched the shit out of me because I had to move her into the bedroom while a new fridge was being delivered.

I just realized I left my business cards at my office, and I leave in the morning for a business trip where I'm going to need my business cards constantly. I'm hung over, exhausted, still have to pack and clean my place tonight before I can leave for the trip. I suppose I *have* to go back to the office.... or I can just repeat several hundred times next week "I forgot my cards."
just grab a few packs of index cards on the way to airport and write your name and email address on them during your flight.

Just get coked out instead and rage on some bitchezz!
Crisis averted. After ransacking my apartment, I found about 50 of my old cards, which have the wrong title but fortunately still have the right contact info. That's enough that I can say I ran out (when I do) without feeling like an idiot.
Hah. Yea, my company would kill me. They're fairly strict about business card / brand standards.
I wanted to go out tonight, but I have done nothing to prepare for this trip, my apartment is in shambles (minimally I *have* to clean my kitchen before I leave in the morning), I'm *still* hung over, and in the last couple of hours, I've fallen into a really foul mood, sad about things that shouldn't matter, and I'm pissed that I have to go be social every fucking day and night for the next 2+ weeks. I am going to hide in my apartment watching cute animal videos.![]()
I'm quitting smoking. I'm fucking miserable.
Oh look it stopped snowing...
I just got an invoice from my Neighborhood community association that I owe $315.00 in fees just because I live in this community that happens to have a skating and hockey rink, and tennis court. I don't use the community centre or it's facilities and I find it offensive to pay such a ridiculously high fee - especially when nearby communities have a private lake and they pay less per year than we do here. I'm wondering what the consequences are of refusing to pay it.
I used to work with this guy.
He was such great eye-candy.
And he was super sweet.

They can put a lien on your house if you don't pay your fees. They can also force you into forclosure if you don't pay. The lady I work with recently had that happen, she had assumed they were just taking the fees out of her account every month but that had stopped when the company got bought out by another company. She never got any notification and hadn't realized the payments weren't coming out so they tried to foreclose, with filing fees and all the interest she had to come up with almost $3000 to save her house. HOA's are ridiculous.
I had a co-worker who felt he shouldn't have to pay school taxes because he didn't have any kids. He also complained about how stupid people were.
I came in here to complain about the same thing. I've been dealing with it for a few hours. About to pop 800mg of ibuprofin
...
My dog passed away yesterday morning. It was a total shock. One minute he was happy eating his dinner and 5 hours later he was ill. He was my dog child. I am depressed and hate life right now. I wonder how long this will last.

Euphonic: I'm soooo sorry to hear about your loss! I know losing your pet is like losing a part of your family.
Thanks, y'all.
We (as in my fellow comrades in the emergency service field) are all pretty mad and upset about this. The drunk driver is currently only being charged with DUI and 2nd degree assault with a motor vehicle. When police arrived on scene, they found the DD in the back seat of my former co-workers' (Ben) car, stroking the cheek saying "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen." Ben was DOA. I just hope his sons make a full recovery.
