hey bug I picked up this book the other day:




interesting overview of the Mpls scene in the 80s. Prince, Westerburg, Mould/Hart, Louris/Olson.. that's an impressive bit of songwriting out of one area in a short timeframe. (edit: also Dave Pirner).

ps for the last time I am an associate member of the Northern Alliance and 18 years of living in lake effect snow and regular below zero temps provides me with plenty of backbone and experience to kick ass at snowball. Period. Did I mention wind chill?
