Yesterday was Friday. Tried not to eat meat. I was tipped off to try the indian food in the main food court area. Plate was overflowing with love. Downed it with 2 iced green teas.

I'm not a vegetarian, but yesterday I tried the stir fry noodles with peanut sauce at some vegan place in the main food court. It was surprisingly good and didn't leave me with that heavy feeling that Spicy Pie does. Ended up checking it out just because it was a long line so I figured it must be good.

Hawaiian Grill saved me Saturday evening. Veggies, chicken and noodles were perfect fuel the fest.
I loved the goat cheese popsicles / cheese cake.

Found Pinks, but passed on them. Not only did they bring their delicious dogs with them, they also brought that long fucking line.

Best meal of the weekend goes to the Ruth Chris steak sandwich. I was almost in tears. The burger was also good.

Worst meal of the weekend goes to the people selling the blocks of ice cream covered with chocolate, sprinkles, and nuts inside of two pieces of waffles. I felt so guilty about it, I had to kiss it and throw it away.

Raw food truck and coconuts. But yesterday I started getting a sore throat, so ice cream was the best thing I ate all day. That and vodka tonics at night made my throat feel better.

The first thing I did Friday morning was look for Cowboys and Turbans only to be disappointed. I tried the Ruth's Chris steak without the bread and it was quite delicious. Also, that $6 lemonade was the most delicious rip off.

I was excited to see the "Pie for the people" selling pizza. I picked up a cheese slice on Friday, took a bite, then turned around and looked at their sign. I thought it was those hippies from "Pizza for the people" who have an old ice cream machine with an oven. I didn't even notice until after biting into it. What was in the Bowie?

overall food was disappointing this year, compared to previous 5 Coachellas. Too many placed serving sandwiches and burgers...so boring. The mexican stalls were obviously not from Socal and were just plain bad.

The best food I've had at Coachella was new, interesting stuff I hadn't seen elsewhere. Very little of that this year.

There seemed to be 3-4 of the Spicy Pie locations this year. They weren't as obvious as in year's past, but almost every food court had one (I think the exception would be the one between the Outdoor and Gobi).

That hot dog place looks awesome. Where was it located?

Fuck yes, ive been getting that every day since 2008 and it never fails to fill me up and leave me feeling excellent.

That and pizza (with a ton of the salsa from the condiments area) saved my life this year food wise.
