Last years treat was having a Date Milk Shake with dinner each day. Great burst of simple and some complex carbs that made it easier to maintain my energy until well after getting back to the motel. I wasn't nearly as tired as previous years. I'll be drinking them again this year if they are there.

The place(s) with Indian food have amazing dishes. The chinese food is okay, but not great. The burgers can range from acceptable to pretty good. The Two Guys pasta stand seriously does not do their restaurant justice. The food they serve is good, but it's nothing like the real thing. Spicy Pie may not be the best pizza, but it's a huge slice of cheesy spicy goodness that SHALL NOT be missed. Rarely a happier man than one holding a beer and a spicy pie while watching someone do their thing on the main stage. You will eat spicy pies, and you will love them. All the way to the portable shitters, where thousands of people go to relieve themselves of spicy pie each hour. Spicy. Pie. (exciting)

Hey I figured I'd ask here but, about how much is food at the store/vendors at Coachella? Normally at concerts I don't buy jack shit because $8 for beer, $6 for water, or $8 for a single hot dog or funnel cake is just ridiculous. Normally I just eat before or after a show but....obviously going 3 days without drinking or eating probably won't turn out very well so I'd like to know whether I should just bring my own food, to munch on, or is it reasonable prices to buy stuff there

The breakfast buffet in the campground was super legit. I had two plates full of food for like 10 bucks

It seems to me that there IS good food to be found at reasonable prices. My favorite vendor is a certain taco stand that serves great chicken soft tacos. I saw a lady get covered in salsa after squeezing the plastic bottle too hard. I think maybe a chunk of tomato was stuck in the nozzle, and she just kept squeezing it until it exploded. Anybody care to offer up some favorites?
