For one thing, I discovered this board. Which led me to the wonderful world of Ticketweb/cheap shows.

And I drive a truck for my dad's company, and my rate went up accordingly when diesel went up to like $5.15 a year or so ago. But then went diesel went down to $3 and below, I still get paid the same as when it was $5.15, so I have some extra cash on hand.

Youre almost at 250, good job Chris. And theres a lot of acts you have seen in the late 90's early 00's I saw too, hahahaha. I should start counting everything up.

I think with how much of our lives we devote to music/shows, keeping a list is only fitting.

Yeah, my problem is back in the day, shows where there werent tickets cause they were in hole in the wall and lost stubs make it an issue and its all about memory. Im already at 100 and just counted 4 acts.

Yeah, with a lot of those you just have to make a mental note to look it up at sometime or another. Out of all the shows I've been to, I think only 2 I was unable to find the venue/date/opening band by googling it.

I got lucky since I have the ticketstub to every show I've ever seen, so it was easy to make the list.

I am glad that I've had my mountmccabe shows thread. That has helped me catch up, mostly.

I am sure there are shows I am still missing from the last year and a half, though.

This is going to become my during football project tomorrow. Saved most but not all of my stubs. The early 00s when I just started going to shows are going to be lulz. There may or may not have been a Linkin Park show during my Jr. High years...

one of my best friends held on to his 80's hair metal/glam love for far too long, so my list includes several Poison/Bon Jovi/Motley Crue type shows that I accompanied him to in high school

    whatever, they were fun

You started late enough that a lot of bad things (well other than whoever has reformed because they need to make a quick buck) werent really around.

oh man, if only I were old enough in the 90s to have hit some concerts like Cranberries, Lollapalooza 94, Woodstock 99 and such...

I think I'd have liked to see Jeremy Jordan in 1993

I kind of gave up on the list, I haven't updated mine since summer, and have been going to too many will call shows...

    you'll dig my first show:
it was bad religion and nofx, plus a few other epitaph bands at the epitaph summer nationals at the palladium in 1994. it was 3 nights in a row of shows. cost? $6.

still have the shirt, too, haha...

bad ass... Bad Religion I think are better now than ever... the setlist diversity and Greg's voice has not failed one bit over the years, + Brooks on drums/Brian Baker of Minor Threat on guitar....so solid! Offspring in the mid 90s must have been nuts! Ixnay On The Hombre is my fav cd by them.

You guys all make me incredibly jealous. My first show was The Cure's curiosa festival at the Home Depot Center in 2004. Then aside from Almost acoustic christmas in 2005, and one day of coachella in 2007, I didn't go to anything else until Radiohead at the bowl. I've only really started to go to shows this year.

    I am only 18, though.
