too many that shit can be almost as much of a hell hole as the gobi.
It wasn't a hell hole when Hot Chip was playing and it was fukiing packed
I'm looking for a number guys....

Mojave has stayed the same size for a while dude. Gobi has only really changed cause it used to be tiny as hell. Sahara of course was bigger in 2006 so Madonnas ego could fit, then went back down to ''normal'' size in 2007. I expect the big tent for this coming year, EVERYONE will wanna see Underworld and The Chemicals.
All the tents are way too packed - there is a solution to this and it's called a capacity cap - and it should be LESS than the 60,000 they let in there per day. Should be 45-50k at best. Make it more of special event. Make it more comfortable. Make it better than it already is.

yeah but 60k means more money and 60,000 people sounds better to the press and for publicity.
Yeah - those are unfortunate realities I guess, but man, do I miss the first 4 years of the festival. Everything was great (even the weather), you could actually see one of the acts in the tents without showing up two sets early. Now that I think about it, I saw a lot more music in those first four years of Coachella. For example, I saw more in the 2 days of 2002 or 2003, then the 3 days of 2007.
