this year we're driving to san fran for a couple days then spending a couple nights at yosemite, then back to frisco to fly home to south florida.

coachella 07 it was stopping at a gas station outside of palm springs on Monday morning and playing scratch-its for 20 minutes (god i love those things) then we hit up Jack-in-the-box for breakfast. 13 hours later we reach home.
In 08' we are going to try and spend Monday and Tuesday recovering by the ocean..

Driving four hours back to Santa Barbara, celebrating my birthday on the 30th, and getting back to work.

Smart to bring your mom! If you stay somewhere with a pool, it'll probably be a nice little vacation even without going to the festival.

Oh yes. After 8 years, we've got it all figured out. We've got a house with a pool, jacuzzi and access to golf and tennis. Also my Mom grew up in Palm Springs, so it just makes too much sense.

I am a 3 hour drive away from Indio, so my plan is to drive home and sleep and somehow recover from taking four days away from my studies that close to finals.
(Or, as I naively try every year, I can always bring my books with me to the camp-site)

We went to Del Taco after Coach in '06 (after Tool), and we must've waited in the drive-thru lane for about an hour. My brother was driving, and my husband and I got out and walked to Wal-Mart because we had to pee. Fun fun fun!

After we are finished camping (hopefully).....monday we will be staying at a hotel right near the palm springs airport....recovery time.... then on the plane back to New York.
