Taking a look at Friday's acts, Gogol Bordello could easily steal the show that day...

Their live act is absolutely insane!! It's definitely looks like an experience to be felt...Can't wait!!


I'm really just praying that they won't be playing at the same time as Peeping Tom...

gogol bordello is the main reason i wanted to go to coachella.
I saw them last year and have been smitten ever since.

Definitely the most original outfit in the field... I was just going over some live concert footage of them and you can't take your eyes off the spectacle!!

Hope fully the big crowds will be fawning over JAMC, at the main stage...

I cant wait to see them. I missed them when they came through town and all of my friends said it was one of the best shows they've seen. All of the local newspapers rated it in the top 3 of '06

They're one of the best live bands. When i saw them last year, the crowd was kind of dull and just stood there. I hope at coachella everyone starts dancing and acting crazy.

I saw them open for tegan and sara and cake. Very catchy tunes, even though i feel like i'm in calcutta or something..crazy stuff. women in the band screaming is what i remember..

Ive only been exposed to them through this documentary I have on DVD called Kill Yr Idols. It has Sonic Youth and a bunch of other noise-ish bands like Liars, Gogol, and older stuff like Teenage Jesus, DNA, etc.

I must say, they look like a lot of fun. If theyre not up against anyone else I wanna see I'll definitely check them out.

I agree with this whole heartedly. They are some wild and crazy ppl who make great music! ppl will go nuts, how cant you? it's contagious!!! lets all get stupid and make fools of ourselves! I missed them when they came through town last year and since their departure have fallen in love with their zany style. Start wearin' purple people.

Whoa...I was just looking at their Myspace page and realized that the lead singer is the guy who played Alex. I definately will not miss them. I don't think I would have gotten very far into that film if it wasn't for Alex being so amusing. The end of the film was very rewarding, but it was slow getting there.

I was pretty excited to see Gogol on the bill. I haven't had a chance too see them them live yet although from what I've seen they are pretty crazy.
