See title. It's that simple.
US dates plz.
damn u would think that coachella would be perfect for the start of their tour... it seems like it would fit... oh well![]()
No one can post on their tour website that they are playing coachella before coachella annouces the line up... that just doesnt make sense. I dont care what the website says, I'm sure it will change later.
Ticket in Milan = £ 36.00? Wonder if American tickets will be similarly priced. Not that it really matters. Sounds really sweet for a huge venue, though.

It's pretty shitty for Radiohead to play every festival in Europe but not the one that's in America when they are going to be touring. Now I have to spend all my Coachella money on LA-area tickets. The ideal situation would have been Coachella and then September at the Hollywood Bowl...more time to make plans and save money, but noooo.
So what time were all these shows posted? I'll be setting my alarm for that time every night for the next several days/weeks/months.
I'm this close to buying a ticket in Milan because I've been overdue to go to Italy for a graduation present for over two years now, but if I buy a ticket I won't have any left for American tickets when they go on sale.
What's Roskilde like? I know a bunch of Pearl Jam fans died there, but that's it. Anyone have a link to last year's set times?
And atsleaze is about to explode.
There was no waste email, wasn't it?
I might be buying a ticket for the Glasgow date.. Hopefully it won't conflict with MBV.
Does waste ship tickets overseas?
what is wrong with discussing this in the "RADIOHEAD TOUR ANNOUNCED! SPRING 2008" thread? should I go delete that thread?
.................................................. ..............
She added the phrase "meany head" to my profile.I hardly think I'm an attention whore.
And that thread is tl;dr. This is actually relevant to the issue at hand, too.
Is that 36 Euro or 36 GBP? If its GBP thats almost $75. U.s Ticket prices will stay the same so about 40 -50
Dani, You could lock the other thread, this one as stated relevant now with dates posted on their site.
My fingers are crossed for them playing if there is a mile high music and arts fest.
I do see them at ACL or lolla though.
The timing of ACL is probably more in line with Radiohead's schedule.
Maybe Radiohead turned them down
Well, pretty much says that Quart festival offered them around 500 000 euros, but Radiohead turned them down. Nothing to do with if Coachella approached them or not, but maybe they want to play Lolla or ACL instead?

Radiohead turned down €500,000 ($738,000 American) to headline some festival in Norway.

The Who and the Killers headlined for $418,000 and $382,000, respectively.
I know Dani would never be able to tell us and we should never bother asking her, but what do you all think or know about how much bands get paid to play Coachella? Spin claims Radiohead got a million, some Arizona paper said Daft Punk spent all of their mid-six figure paycheck on the pyramid, and this claims Erase Errata got $100 plus passes.
Edit. Damn. orbit beat me to it.
Hilary Swank got paid $75 bucks a day for Boys Dont Cry.
So, Erase Errata got her beat.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
But look at what it did for her career.
ROSKILDE:
I went last year. It's a good festival, but it's also miserable. VERY COLD. VERY WET. VERY MUDDY. I posted an in depth review somewhere on here, you can search to find it.
basically. bring a heavy duty tent, a heavy duty jacket, and become one with the muck. People are awesome and nice, lots of alcohol all over, lots of good music...
but I wouldn't go to see big bands. it's TOUGH to get near the front. I saw mostly lower rung bands there.
did you see the Beastie Boys?
