I can't get into contemporary Christmas music for some reason. I love all the old school stuff that I remember my parents playing when i was a kid. Lots of Dean Martin, Sinatra, Johhny Mathis, Bing Crosby. Those songs make me feel a Christmas nostalgia for eras far before my time.
Most modern Christmas music is too slick and overproduced and just doesn't do much for me. There are plenty of good random instrumental versions that I have enjoyed though.
I do like Sarah Brightman's Ave Maria quite a bit though.
