I mean, it's understandable. In a market where they're going to sell out even at those high prices, it makes sense to charge more. Apparently they made the decision to charge a much lower price in Austin because they didn't have the same confidence about selling power there. Shows in LA are almost always at least $10-15 more expensive than in smaller cities, for example. But yeah, it is a large jump.

Also it might have different dues/taxes for foreign acts and renting the venue.

Yea especially at Hammerstein! The only venue where I've been to where they make you throw out lighters before you walk into the venue When Portishead played there in 2011, I think it was between $60-$85 and I thought that was really expensive.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!!! I'm liking more dates in 2014...

    Moderat 2013 Tour postponed

On Saturday afternoon (07.09.2013) Sascha Ring, member of the band Moderat had a motorcycle accident in Berlin. We are happy to announce that given the circumstances, Sascha and his girlfriend - who was with him at the time - are doing well.

However, Sascha has sustained a complicated multiple leg fracture that is likely to impede his mobility greatly in the coming weeks and possibly months.

To ensure Sascha’s full recovery we will have to postpone all upcoming Moderat tour dates until January 2014.

    Tickets retain their validity.

We wish Sascha a quick recovery.
    Thanks for your understanding.
