that is one strange fucking bill
No it wont, itll be the same people that go to Vanguard every saturday.
Tonight I saw Steve Reich and co. perform at the Bing Theatre at LACMA. Steve Reich performed on Clapping Music, which was cool. The program also consisted of WTC 9/11, Sextet, Piano Counterpoint, and Different Trains. I could try to do a big writeup, but it wouldn't do the show justice. Suffice to say it was easily one of the most emotionally intense/demanding/draining shows I've ever seen. WTC 9/11 and Different Trains (whose narrative takes place during and right after WWII and includes recordings of Holocaust survivors discussing their experience) were incredibly gut wrenching, but I think it was Sextet, a fully instrumental piece, that had me the most on the edge of my seat. Every single one of the performers tonight was super on point, fun to watch, and awesome at what they did.
I'm thinking everybody that has Greek tickets will try to get the HF tickets and then sell what they had for the Greek.

About Last Night | The National
Park Avenue Armory | New York, NY
May 7th, 2013
The soaring, majestic Drill Hall in New York's historic Park Avenue Armory provided
an awe-inspiring setting for the National's taping for Live from the Artists Den on
Tuesday night. The massive space, designed to resemble a classic European train station,
hosted 900 invited guests, who witnessed a twenty-song set featuring the debut of numerous
songs from the Brooklyn-based band's forthcoming album, Trouble Will Find Me, along with
blistering versions of such favorites as "Fake Empire," "Bloodbuzz Ohio," and "Terrible Love."
This special performance, for which the National was augmented by horns and a string section,
will air this summer on public television as part of the sixth season of the acclaimed concert series.
Omg, that sale for The National was soooooooo hard! The site kept crashing over and over!
I keep forgetting does Hollywood Forever still need the person buying ticket go in w/ the entire party? I remember Sigur they didnt but maybe they did for XX if I remember correctly? I wanna get them but have the option to get rid of them if we end up staying longer in SF for OSL.

Really weird tour routing. Texas, California, then Utah in 3 days? And then up to Chicago two days later. I would think a band that has to travel in from Glasgow would be more efficient with their bookings, but glad they are coming to SB. So good when I saw them.
Yeah they are a lot of fun live.
