EDIT: Nvm just haven't used AXS yet. It looks like the show has a meet and greet. If thats the $75 ticket thats not too bad.
For NY show, you get these goodies for VIP. It's probably the same for LA show...

    VIP Tickets Include:
Priority entry, meet & greet with Peter Murphy, exclusive edition t'shirt and signed poster.

guess these are popping up randomly without an official announcement leading up to their festival dates.

yeah for those interested, DO NOT MISS OUT ON BONOBO!!!

Saw the live show a few years ago and its still top 5 all time for me. The new album sounds amazing, plus you'll still get a lot from Black Sands and Days to Come.

Is the Fonda show already sold out?

I saw that Japandroids announced a tour with openers The Gaslight Anthem, A Place to Bury Strangers and Cloud Nothings and I flipped out... until I realized that they didn't mean all three bands at each show. I haven't seen the Anthem but I'd love to and the other three are all near the top of my list for live bands. Damn.

    Big Boi/Killer Mike - 2013 TOUR DATES

The MC says his set list will include new tracks, most notably "CPU" and "Apple of My Eye." His 90-minute set will also include classic Outkast jams and cuts from his 2010 solo LP Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, including "Fo Yo Sorrows," "Shutterbug" and "Shine Blockas." "It's just nonstop action," he says.

One of the most intriguing elements of the rapper's newest effort was its wealth of guest stars, from Wavves' Nathan Williams ("Shoes for Running") to T.I. ("In the A") and Kid Cudi ("She Hates Me"). There's a possibility, he says, that they'll pop up onstage this tour. "Oh, definitely!" Big Boi says. "Depending on who's in the vicinity."

He's particularly amped, he says, to have fellow Atlanta rapper Killer Mike opening for him. Killer Mike appeared on the Vicious Lies cut "Thom Pettie," and he'll join Big Boi during the main set each night. "It'll be a nice block of Killer Mike and Big just killing shit," Big Boi says. "We're gonna do just about all the records that me and him recorded together."

YES tonight at the ORpheum. Woot Woot!
Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.

College always pay more $$$ than regular shows. When I was in college, we booked new found glory and they were paid $15,000 or so to play in our cafeteria and I know they were only getting paid around $5,000 for regular gigs back in the day.

You realize he was referring to the fact the San Francisco is over 1000 miles away from Chicago and Milwaukee which are pretty much next to each other.

I think his point is that they're probably paying to fly them in, because that's the date that works for SF State and Big Boi likes money so he'll hop on a plane with his laptop DJ and Killer Mike.
    *based upon tedious fact checking.

Thanks for explaining it to that high school kid. Next thing he's going to say is why are they playing in SF on 5/15.

When I booked shows we paid significantly less than what the regular venues were paying. We got No Age for $50, Ladytron for $1500 and Grizzly Bear for $800, off the top of my head.
