Maceo Plex is underwhelming (his set at DEMF had less dynamic in the entire set then is usually in one of his tracks alone, kind of boring)... but MJC was fun last time I saw her (though she has a rep for being mediocre as a DJ)...

That's what I've been hearing about both Maceo & MJC - underwhelming. but I hope because its in LA, they'll go a little harder. (I enjoyed Maceo Plex's Live @ ElectroBeach, type of set). Itll be my first time seeing them both, so I think i'd enjoy them regardless!

I think as long as your expectations are set appropriately (which they clearly are), you'll definitely have a good time...

The whole producer vs DJ thing is always such an unfortunate reality that we have to deal with... So many great producers who are shit DJs, but tour because of how much their productions sell... While there are plenty of amazing DJs who can't produce for shit, but unless they've been around for 20 years you'll never hear of them (and half of those have ghost writers now anyhow)

(Edit: And while we're at it... can someone get me my cane? And get those goddamned kids off my lawn?)
