I live in Perth, Western Australia. Tonight is the last show of their Aussie tour. If you are town hit me up as my wife has just decided not to come and I have a spare ticket. But I bet you are on the East coast ? Nobody ever comes to Perth.
If you guys like 65days & sleepmakeswaves I would recommend checking out Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving. They are local to Perth and along a similar vein but different enough to remain unique.
Anyone in Los Angeles been to Sound yet?
Three (long been one of my favorite DJ's) and Fur Coat are there on Friday and I was planning on checking it out. Still a little apprehensive due to the whole "from the folks who brought you Playhouse" thing...
Question: anyone stubhub a ticket for the Troubadour before? If so, will the venue check for the name on the ticket, and if its not your name on the ticket (stubhub) will they still let you in?
Alright, good. Thanks!

Maybe Reich will himself perform on Clapping Music like at the Disney Concert Hall show last year? Anyway, I'm in.

Tell me more. Do you remember what they played? Also, were they selling "Honor Found in Decay" 2xlp on clear (the rarest color) by any chance? I can't wait to see them again in two weeks

They played for about 2 hours straight, with no talking. it was just straight-forward and intense! As you may have read, their shows are much more stripped down now - no visuals, and very limited lighting. I hadn't seen them before, but i really didn't really didn't feel like I was missing anything, the music really speaks for itself.

Saw Brian Wilson perform "Smile" there, it was extra amazing thanks to the acoustics.
I can imagine... been wanting to see a show there forever. The weeknight commute from SD for shows can be killer though. We could be lucky and have it take 2 1/2 hours. Or be really unlucky and have it take 5 (that's happened before and I'm amazed we even got to the venue at all).
