I was trying to point out there's no way in hell I would pay any artists over a grand for lower bowl seating along with $850 box set you have to pay on top lol. Even mid bowl/100 section seats are priced at $800. If you didn't get tickets, just wait till next year when they play stadiums/arenas....tickets will actually be reasonably priced!

I've been having a really hard time with this the last couple times I've tried to buy tickets. i had to go through 6 sets of captchas the other day to get through because they were totally illegible. The little photos with the numbers are sometimes totally blurred out and indistinguishable, it's really frustrating.

Some of the new ones that sponsored by Facebook are incredibly easy though. They are just written out in plain type and usually real word. Or totally blurred ones. I just hit the keyboard for those.

Very frustrating! Good job Ticketbastard, make it even HARDER for fans to grab tickets while scalpers run rampant and grab them all! Anyway, you're going to Soundgarden show in LA right? You can see the setlist/pics from last night here: http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archive...la_4.html#more

    This Saturday...

Occupy Sandy is presenting a benefit show with acoustic performances by Real Estate, Vampire Weekend, Devendra Banhart, Cass McCombs, The Walkmen members Hamilton Leithauser, Walter Martin, and Peter Bauer, and Dirty Projectors members David Longstreth, Amber Coffman and Haley Dekle on Saturday (11/17) at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity (157 Montague St.) in Brooklyn Heights. It's a day show which runs from noon to 5 PM. Tickets are on sale (suggested donation of $30 minimum) now and all proceeds will go to Occupy Sandy who has been doing great work around the city since Hurricane Sandy.

I would be very happy with that Soundgarden setlist! I am sure they'll be mixing it up for the actual tour next year though.

Not at all. Creep was the non-representative first hit single from Radiohead, whereas Black Hole Sun is one of Soundgarden's more effective and awesome dark psych rock songs and one of their many hits. I'm sure they'll be playing it at other shows, but it was almost refreshing to see something like that missing from the setlist, especially considering there are older gems like Gun on there.

I have never liked that song, so I was happily surprised to see it omitted. If they could somehow get Ty Cobb in there by February i'd be super duper happy.

So last night I got to see Paul McCartney for the first time. I really don't know how to put into words how amazing this show was. Setlist was paced perfectly. It was just hit after hit after hit. He exceeded every single expectation I had going in there last night. He played for 2.5 hours and there was little to no downtime at all. The night was just full of so many awesome moments and the singalong to Hey Jude with 40,000 other people gave me chills. This show was perfect. Easily one of the best shows I've ever seen, or probably will ever see.

Loser. If you fucking cared about the music in the slightest and not just saying you saw blahblah show at blahblah place before blahblah you would know there are tons of differences. Who can't see he does the fucking abbey road b-side medly in the encore now (among other song changes). You didn't get that shit at Coachella or the hw bowl shows. Suck cocks for being down on people's good times and sharing them with others.
