Leonard Cohen was just amazing as I hope it would be.Expect I had a few problems with as these fucking dumb baby boomer there. With their huge Fat heads and earslopes blocking my view and not knowing to manuever in a crowd or to their seat.It was so fucking bad that Leonard Cohen stopped the show and did "Dance Me To The End Of Love" two and quarter times .Since he said there was too much moving around and a lot people not in their seats .My favorite song preformed was "Famous Blue Raincoat" since I find the meaning of the song to one of most heartfelt and zen like emotion to a your wife cheating scenerio. Also Cohen redoing those song made the setlist lose two songs.
PinPoint Music is giving away tickets to see Jens Lekman tonight at the Fonda: http://www.pinpointmusic.com/ticket-...he-fonda-11-5/
Yea Refused was pretty intense. Definitely the tightest and best sounding set I've seen from them- much prefer Shape of Punk to Come as the opening song. Just think it works really well there. I guess one of them got sick before the encore? That may have been the reason for what seemed like a short set. Overall awesome energy from Dennis, lanky as ever and bounding around like a skinny, crazed monkey throughout. Loved it!

Leonard Cohen was perfect. He played for almost 3.5 hours. I'm a bit sad about missing Refused, but i think Cohen was one of the best shows I've ever been to.

standing corrected on this part only, it was not Ted Nugent. It was a Stooges song. Which was mixed into the middle of The Deadly Rhythm. They drop in ''Tv Eye'' and then finish off the song. Oooooops.
setlist fm can suck it.
some video btw

Looks like I'm gonna be in San Diego visiting my girlfriend's brother and his kids on Saturday so we're gonna see Titus Andronicus down there. Has anyone been to The Irenic before? i'm wondering if "doors" time is is when they start shows, or how long after doors open they typically start them. They don't seem to be very good about posting set times.

Anyone else going to A Place to Bury Strangers tonight at the Troub?
Set times:
8:30 - Mathewdavid
9:15 - Bleeding Rainbows
10:15 - APTBS
I've been there once, for Ariel Pink a few weeks ago, and the opener started about half an hour after doors. It's actually a church, and I don't know how many people work there so it was a little disorganized. Also their beer selection is cans of fat tire in a cooler.
Your so fucking lucky to be going to san diego this week. http://m.sdbw.org/events/2012-11-10/
Who basically just seems to be showing up for random sets everywhere in town lately... so if that's the case... that can't be that exciting even for people who actually like his music at this point.. (there are a lot of them... I'll never understand WHY... but I can't deny the man's popularity)
Anyone need a ticket for Friday's sold out Afghan Whigs show at the Fonda? I have an extra floor ticket for sale... $50.50 (price paid for it after ticketmaster fees)
