I'm driving from LA to SF for Godspeed tomorrow, but I also want to try and get tickets for Sigur Ros @ Hollywood Forever when they go onsale at noon. Would it be possible to make it to the show on time if I left right at 12:15, or should I try and find someone else to attempt getting tickets for me, and leave earlier?

Pulp was a lot of fun tonight. Bad sound, but good show.

Ariel Pink was bad. The sound was super muddy, they only played 2 songs from Before Today, one of which was not Round and Round, go figure.

Non Coachella gigs this week were Atari Teenage Riot/Otto Von Shirach at the Echoplex and CSS/Batwings Catwings at the Troubadour. Batwings Catwings might be my new favorite band. They are playing the Echo Monday for free. What a long weekend this is going to be.

Ooh, captncrzy's company has a skybox at US Airways Arena. The demand for Roger Waters and Madonna shows will probably be too great for us to nab seats in it but hopefully the Keys are still under the radar enough that we'll be able to get in to see them at least.
