Sold? Coldplay sold out all 3 nights at the bowl already. Aerosmith and deadmau5 havent even gone on sale.

And it's still early in the year... so likely something better will pop up. I just like to have a good couple shows outside of my jazz subscription at the Bowl each year.

Damn that makes me feel guilty never having to do that! I just figured they might be on a different system where they don't have to enter a captcha or something of that sort, giving the location the upper hand. Possibly that the time on their screen is perfectly in sync with the whole system, etc. But yeah the two places I mentioned might be the last two of a pretty much extinct breed.

What they DO have now though are these redbox type (but smaller) self automated ticketmaster dispensers that you can purchase tickets at and have them printed out for you on the spot (as regular ticketmaster ticket stubs, NOT ticketfast). They have one at the Brea mall by my house, I've used it once but it has been awhile since then and I can't remember if it takes you through captcha. Anyone recall? I might try and make it there by friday and check it out, I will report back.

Nothing from the KCRW series was appealing? I would say to expect Bon Iver and Gotye to be late year events they have there.

PRetty excited about this show actually, even though it's pretty high priced. Never been to the Fox, but entered that non-alcoholic Glasshouse numerous times. Hope it's chandelier classy for that price. Be smoking weed in the alley before if get tickets tomorrow. Good luck all.

Jesus, the non-leased events at the Bowl announced so far are kind of awful. Coldplay, Aerosmith, and now this?

And they're all events that will sell extremely well.

Unless the tickets start at $10 or $15 for the back, I don't see him selling out two nights at the bowl. He did 4 nights at the Palladium back in August that barely sold out and those tickets were maxed out at $50, where the good seats at HB will probably be about $90 with fees. I don't know, will people really go just to see him at the bowl kind of thing? And then not to mention tickets go on sale next week which leaves them only about a month and a week to sell. And Above & Beyond are having their plur celebration weekend at the Shrine, so thats 12,000 people who probably would have gone to Deadmau5 otherwise

Yeah it is right near the the very middle of the mall on the first floor, I believe near that coke vending machine that has the conveyor belt arm to grab the drinks. You could ask one of the Simon customer service desks exactly where it is.
