It's been several years since I've been, but I recall that east-ass end of Santa Monica Blvd to be pretty dingy without much going on besides the club, and it was always really easy to find street parking less than a block away.

I liked Porno for Pyros about 10X more than Jane's. I found those 09' performances kind of boring from the get go and by the time Lolla came around I left that show during the first song.

That's what I figured. I'm not a huge fan to begin with anyway.

Is this where Atoms for Peace played twice in 2009 after that secret show? Can't believe this show is $48 with all service charges!!! But I'm guessing this place has pretty good acoustics though...go to this or fly back & catch Refused at shitty Terminal 5.
Have couple weeks to decide I guess! On sale 3/23

Where did this come from? It's not on Stetson's or Constellation Records' site, nor can I find tickets for the LA show anywhere - please help, this is easily my most anticipated show of the year!
Edit: Okay, I see some of the dates (including LA) listed on Gregory Rogove's site, but if anyone knows about ticket onsale or links I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm really excited for Andrew this saturday at the glasshouse! I've only seen him at warped tour 2 years back so I am looking forward to his own show.
One more time...I have an extra ticket available for the Andrew WK show at the Avalon tomorrow. PM me if you want to have fun and you want to get WASTED! (or if you just would like to go)
Someone needs to take rag and bone's offer. As everyone has said, the shows are incredible.
I laughed a lot during the show. It was uproarious and fun throughout. Four guitarists and a bassist playing barre chords was completely necessary. I didn't expect to see 8 people on stage (Andrew WK, 4 guitarists, drummer, bassist and a hypewoman), so I was pleasantly surprised. Also, a 2nd encore.

Yeah, he always had at least 3 guitarists. He likes to pack the stage full of people, usually inviting fans to come up and dance during, or holding audience members on his shoulders. many years ago at House Of Blues, someone in the audience was holding up a sign that said, "I can play the bass part for She is Beautiful!" so Andrew pulled him up on stage and let him play. the crowd went fucking ballistic. it was awesome.
