Is Muse opening on that one?Wed, Mar 07 2007
: My Chemical Romance: Rise Against: Orleans Arena
I really want to see Muse but not really sure if it is worth taking a work day-off and driving hundred miles with them just opening for MCR.
Delta,
Who are your favorites in Coachella '07?
Not that I am aware of. But I tell you what, I grabbed a batch of GA and was waiting for it to sell out to re-sell, but if they are opening and you were left out because of a sell out, I'll give you one or a pair that I'm holding for face-value if you'll need. Are you from Vegas?
Rage, The Roots, Placebo.Who are your favorites in Coachella '07?
I'm actually quite open to listening to artists I've never heard. There are only a handful of acts that I'm really set on not missing. Other than that, I plan on making new favourites there.

I can't answer that succinctly.
Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot was the first and is probably my favorite. It is through and through an album; a whole that is of one drive and design. It is sparse, slow, sad and beautiful. But beautiful as in real and true rather than glossy and pretty. "Someday I Will Treat You Good" is one of the best songs I have ever heard, musically and lyrically (counted separately or together.)
Also, as I just learned:

The 2001 album, It's a Wonderful Life is really good but not my favorite. It has a song with Tom Waits and another with Polly Jean Harvey. Also Nina Persson. The guests are mainly because Capitol finally started wondering wtf and tried to get him to be more like a normal band. It's still Sparklehorse, though, no doubt about that.
I mean, honestly, I have no idea how those first two records were released on Capitol.
Damn I love this band.
i encourage you n00bs to join this site

I been to a billion epic shows Spaceland. R.L Burnside and Ween were the most memorable. R.L. Burnside killed it I got him to sign a picture of Jesus.
April 17th - Iggy & the Stooges @ The Warfield
*based upon tedious fact checking.
This is fucked up. I live in the Bay Area my whole life. The Stooges play everywhere but the Bay Area since they reunited. Then they finally choose to play there on a Thursday the week before Coachella. Which means they will probably play Los Angeles when I go home for the summer. FUCK YOU IGGY POP AND YOUR AWESOME ROCK BAND! FUCK YOU!
hello upcoming shows thread. how are you today?
