Great meeting all of you, as well! And mccabe, it is Sean.

I thought it was a fantastic show. He really performs well solo. Lots of emotion, and plays well to the crowd. Didn't get a CD, but we did meet him after for a photo and autograph. Very genuine guy, which is always nice to see. Hate it when artists are a-holes...

Clipse just added a show at the Sonar in Baltimore next month. Have you seen them live? If so, how are they live?

WHOA - EITS is in Phoenix the night I am planning on getting there. I must find a way to get tickets. John, Tom, Amy, Sean - thoughts? Best way to get tickets at that venue? We are driving to Indio on Friday morning.

It looks like you can tickets for that show through Ticketmaster, York.

I saw that show too, but if I get to Coachella, I want to drive there on Thursday. Screw driving for hours and watching bands all day on the same day.

Good point, but it's just the way all our schedules work out. And it's one less night of paying for a hotel.

I used to think that way, but now I'm old and I get tired easily. Having kids takes a lot out of you.

York, they are playing at the Clubhouse in Tempe; cool venue for them. Very intimate, but still a decent sized stage.
A lot of options for tix. Looks like you can order them off their band site, and do will call. Only $8! That's a steal.

York, Stateside Presents is putting on the show.

The Clubhouse holds 640. There's a decent bar in the middle of the room, all ages area near the stage (usually) and a couple couches and tables the other side.

You can buy tickets online at Ticket Web.

I don't expect the show to sellout so I wouldn't rush on getting your tickets. And, hell, depending on when my friends and I have decided to drive out I/we may go to that show too in which case I could pick up your tickets some time I'm go to Stinkweeds or Zia for records.

early greyhound has a whole page in the new SPIN mag w/ tvotr on the cover.

speaking of which, yes, both their shows are sold out at fonda. i would try craigslist.

and deerhoof is one of those bands where i can not even minutely understand how anyone could genuinely like them. they are probably the worst band i have ever heard, beating out nickelback. i despise them.

I think Deerhoof sound really cute. I remember playing their songs over and over on the Coachella player last year. They didn't sound quite as good at Coachella, but they were pretty fun opening up for Radiohead last year.

And, uh, my husband used to like Nickelback, until their next album came out.

nickelback used to be my least favorite band in the world, but deerhoof has effortlessly taken over that spot. i didn't think it was possible to hate a band as much as i hate deerhoof. hated them at the greek, hated them at the el rey. they sound like complete shit.
