Speaking of deleted stuff, what happened to that Greek Theater posting on their site for Massive Attack?

I really don't think that's true. I've talked to a bunch of people in line and everyone is talking about the show, what songs he might play, etc. Doesn't fit the mold of poster flipper

You can do both, did that ever occur to you? Not everyone wants to be under Jack Whites cock.

David Bazan / Passenger String Quartet - 2014 Tour Dates (more TBA)

11-01 Bowery Ballroom - New York, NY
11-06 Lincoln Hall - Chicago, IL
11-21 Neptune Theatre - Seattle, WA

The seed for this album was planted during a one-off show back in 2012. Bazan was invited to play a show in Tacoma WA with the Passenger String Quartet. PSQ leader Andrew Joslyn put together string arrangements for 4 songs and it was an enjoyable evening for all. They immediately began talking about doing it again and eventually started talking about making proper studio recordings of these songs. But it took nearly two years for everyone's schedules to line up again. In February 2014, they were able to spend a week at Avast! studio in Seattle tracking a collection of 10 songs pulled from Pedro The Lion, Headphones and Bazan solo albums. Long time friend and collaborator Chris Colbert recorded, mixed and mastered the album. Chris's no nonsense approach and years of friendship with Bazan helped focus the effort and they were able to record the entire album in just a few days.

Morrissey really needs to watch his health. He should probably retire. Tom would be happy.

I don't think anyone would make those comparisons since people were actually sad when Kurt killed himself.

I really don't understand him doing this to his opener...

Ok. Regarding the recent True-to-you statement from Morrissey: I did not “confess to a horrendous cold”. On Monday, June 2nd, I had an allergy attack that was over within 16 hours. I went to a doctor (on Monday, June 2nd), an allergy specialist, who gave me drugs for allergies…and they worked. I explained this (early on Tuesday, June 3rd) and offered this doctor’s phone number to Morrissey personally, via email, and the tour manager, Donnie Knutson (for proof….since they seemed to doubt me). But, they NEVER followed up with me or said doctor. Also….it is incorrect that I “decided to leave the tour completely”. I was asked to leave. Was called (in the presence of my band as witnesses) by Morrissey’s booking agent, Dave Tamaroff, and told that there would be a new support band in Boston. I am very sorry that Morrissey is not feeling well. But I will not tolerate these lies….particularly about my health. This is really too much and bizarre.

It was an absolutely incredible show, but what the heck does Arcade Fire have to do with it. Get your nonsensical comments outta here.

I know how much people like Carla, but I think the current drummer is great too. Different style, but it works really well.

I'm comparing the show you saw last night to your love for AF.....which show was better?!

I see that you'll be in town this weekend. FYI: 50 Kent is the worst venue in NYC. "Hey, this waterfront concert area is amazing with beautiful views, what could we do to improve it...? I know! Let's block the view of the water and the gorgeous skyline, make everything concrete and call it a park! fucking genius!"

ps If you're not doing anything Saturday afternoon, you should go see Thee Oh Sees for free....
