How popular is Bombay Bicycle Club? Tickets for a wilten show go on sale tomorrow morning, and I am picking up a couple for a friend, but would rather buy at the box office and save $9 each on Sat. Will that work?

Starting July 10, X will play “Los Angeles,” followed by “Wild Gift” on July 11, “Under the Big Black Sun” on July 12 and “More Fun in the New World” on July 13. The group's albums helped define West Coast punk rock in the 1980s.

Each night’s performance is expected to run about one hour. Some of the songs among those four albums have never been played live, and band members will present them on instruments they rarely use in concert, including guitarist Billy Zoom playing sax and drummer D.J. Bonebrake on vibes.

Tickets on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

does this mean they're gonna play for an hour and stop and that's it for the night?

I will be at Coach House in SJC for SEA WOLF tonight!
    Solo, acoustic set.
Number 4 for me... maybe I'll actually grow a pair and say hi this time...
I also have an extra ticket--my sister bailed.

I skipped Bombay Bicycle Club at Coachella because I had a ticket to see them a couple weeks ago, but I ended up not feeling well that night and bailing on the show. How was their Coachella set?

Banks tonight was good.....my god though the crowd was horrendous. Like, worst crowd of the year horrendous. And I moved several times to try and find a better spot, but there was no better spot to be found.

And i'm going to Lana Del Rey tomorrow.....which will probably be worse.

Hopefully this week doesn't make me lose faith in crowds.

I don't know what a Bombay Bicycle Club is, but I can say Milo Greene is the most bland thing I've ever seen. Their cover of Sufjan's "Chicago" is cringeworthy.

The Animal Collective DJ set last night was a lot of fun. I had no idea what to expect but they put together an eclectically groovy set, performed from behind a white scrim with filtered projections of them mixed in with psychedelic looped animations. For a sold out show it was surprisingly uncrowded down on the floor, which was fine with me. The blissed out Summertime Clothes remix rolling into snippets of Prince's Let's Go Crazy was probably the highlight for me.

Thee Oh Sees were great last night even without Brigid Dawson. Good crowd and snagged an Oh Sees print from the merch table. I got to admit that I chuckled a couple times when the bass player took sips of his PBR in between songs.

    Eagulls tonight!

Banks tonight was good.....my god though the crowd was horrendous. Like, worst crowd of the year horrendous.
Spot on, especially on the heels of how great the crowd for First Aid Kit was the night before. Minimal phone/camera usage and willing to sing along, all day, every day.
Arcade Fire - Santa Barbara Bowl, Aug. 4
Spoon - Hollywood Forever Cemetary, Aug. 8
Paul McCartney - Dodger Stadium, Aug. 10
First Aid Kit - Wiltern, Nov. 12
Coachella - Empire Polo Field, April 17-19
