Because I saw 4 shows in one day but it was because one was an early show in a park, then I saw a free early show at a record store, then I saw an evening show at a venue and then I went to an after hours type concert.

Do they all have to be in the evening or take place in a certain amount of time?
Dipping is done in 12 hr increments usually from 6pm-6am. 6am-6pm is considered another dip session. So depending what time that instore was u either did a back2back double or a single into a triple. Either way #keepondipping

According to the commercial people who don't have a ticket oak use Stub hub, so to me Stub Hub is the tree from the original Evil Dead movie.

AEG and Stubhub have an official partnership. They even renamed the Home Depot Center the Stubhub Center. There's also a giant Stubhub Kiosk in Staples Center where you can literally buy tickets from stubhub and have them printed out of machines right there in the arena.

EDIT: also, it's more about embracing the fact that people want to be able to resell tickets to other people as opposed to "scalping." This way AEG makes money twice - the original ticket sale and they get a piece of the after market sales fees. And now that they sell all their tickets using their own ticketing site, they keep every single penny.

I think Stubhubs days are numbered. Ticketmaster/Livenation have also gotten into the mix they rolled out their own ticket resell platform on few test events couple months ago and ramping up to give you the option to resell ur tickets through them on all events in the near future. While Stub guarantees ur money back if the tixs are bogus or u dont get them. TM can guarantee their validity right off the bat because most events are still sold by them thus you'll never miss the event that you bought scalped tixs for.

I like how it says 2 Many DJs dj set...

Speaking of people I mentioned to my co-workers that I was seeing Andrew Bird and they thought I said, "Angry Birds", so they thought I was seeing some sort of Angry Birds live show or on ice...sigh.

So the Warpaint show on Saturday isn't sold out, but all the listings on stubhub are still over face.

Looks like a Little Dragon ticket is the holy grail. Only one listing, and it is $1499.

AEG owns enough stadiums and arena s worldwide that i don't think this is going to affect them that much. most of the money in this is sports ticketing, you have to remember.

They do have a 2ManyDJs live set too, apparently... so billing it as a dj set is appropriate.

That would be my guess... never been to a 2 Many DJs "live" set before... but clearly there's not space in Sound for that anyhow...

such is life.. that could be said regarding just about every dollar we spend. Buying value menu at McDonald's? Helping some corporate big-wig douche bag. Buying from ticketmaster itself is helping corporate ticketmaster douche bags. The only person you can really help as a consumer is yourself in my humble sometimes misled opinion. Everything helps 'the man' get richer to an extent so, I don't know, but I don't think that this is the same thing as 'don't-buy-the-baby-turtles-in-chinatown-so-they-stop-selling-illegal-turtles-there' type thing like your making it out to be.

DO NOT under any circumstances see Chance the Rapper.

    1. Stupid DJ dude did the whole hyping him up thing for 10 minutes before he came on
    2. Backing track the entire time that was louder than Chance's voice
    3. Chance attempted to sing infrequently
    4. He cut songs off in the middle so many flipping times
    5. He was scheduled to play for 90 minutes--he played for 45 minutes including an encore. Though I guess this is a positive.

I saw him for free, and I wish I could get my time back, it was that terrible. I enjoy his recorded music, but his live show is cringeworthy.

Lisa Loeb's big song was "Stay".

Primal Scream was pretty good last night. They are definitely missing Mani though. Set list was decent, had some nice surprises (shoot speed/kill light, autobahn 66) but also some noteworthy gaps.

It looks like this tour is only of California. Thanks goldenvoice for having enough interest in them.
