Naw, you're not losing it, although it looks like it. Somebody posted after Josh, but before me wondering what the pre sale password was for The Specials here at Club Nokia. I responded with Ghost. I just went back and looked to make sure. The user deleted their post, so it really looks weird now.

So. Fucking. Exciting. The Commodore is easily the best venue in Vancouver, and one of the best I have ever been to, so it is going to be a treat to see The Specials there. I won't be making the second show, but The Specials at the Commodore Ballroom is something to be excited about.

How was the show?

They played for 3 hours 20 minutes and it was pretty rocking. Can't get over how bad the crowd was, but I'm definitely glad I went. Awesome to see some QOTSA songs followed by some Rick Springfield and John Fogerty and Stevie Nicks and tons more. Each group of musicians (except Grohl he stayed on stage the whole time) would play about 4 songs and just destroy on stage.

It was essentially the rock equivalent of a basketball all-star game. Everyone was just on stage having fun.

This is the main reason I have cut way back on concerts. The cool thing about most festivals is that these assholes usually don't show up til late anyway.

Agree on the crowd. At least they got into Fogerty and Nicks' sets. I had a blast and you could tell the guys on stage were as well. The highlights for me were Fogerty, Nicks and Lee Ving. That punk set was a blast!
