Sufjan was weird and absurd and great tonight. He did a good selection of his original Christmas songs and his older songs, and the traditional carol sing alongs were fun too. "Sister Winter" was the highlight for me, and probably the overall highlight of any show I saw this year.

Saw Bruce Springsteen tonight at the Honda Center from the GA floor. The traffic around the Honda Center was horrendous, but the show was really excellent. The Boss will forever impress me.

i enjoyed how to dress well tonight. the soundsystem at the echoplex sounded better than the fonda's did for smd. kinda caught me off guard. the songs are so sad and emotional, but the beats really bang. wish he wouldn't thank the crowd so much. he does a good job interacting with the crowd, but all the thank you's started to bug me. just nit-picking though

Buffalo’s magnificently brutal heavy rock ensemble Every Time I Die will be out on the road in continued support of their powerful and critically acclaimed album, Ex Lives which hit 20 on Nielsen Soundscan this past March. The record was produced by renowned heavy rock producer Joe Barresi (Tool, The Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age, Parkway Drive) and contains magnificently heavy and cathartic onslaught of modern hardcore infused metal. Ex Lives is the band’s sixth full-length studio album and much anticipated follow up to their 2009 breakthrough New Junk Aesthetic which Absolute Punk heralded as a musical “weapon of mass destruction”.

What a bummer Loved this place...

It's a shame they had to kvetch in their farewell announcement. After all, Williamsburg is only continuing on a course navigated by places like Zebulon in the first place. Every cool scene in the history of NYC saw its progenitors priced out when people with money caught on. I like Zebulon, and I'm sorry to see it go, but I'll drown my sorrows in one of a hundred other spots in my backyard.

Anyone experienced with the seating at club Nokia? I've never been to the venue and I'm having trouble deciding on tickets.

I'm buying tickets to the upcoming Parov Stelar show on the 14th and I'm having trouble between "PIT GA STANDING - US $36.50" and "GA STANDING - US $21.50". Any advice?

I'd like to see the layout for this venue. Never heard anything like it! Even if you're on the floor, you have to pay "extra" in order to get closer to the stage? Didn't FlyLo play at Club Nokia in October?

I believe its like how they did the free Gary Clark Jr prints and it's actually the first 100 through the doors night of show. They gave you a ticket and you collect the poster after the show.

EDIT: Nevermind just read the ticketfly link. Guess they'll just have ur name on a list? I imagine they'll be extras since peeps that buy for friends not everyone gonna be interested in collecting a print at the end or forget to.
