I think somebody asked earlier... Frank Ocean goes on at 9:15pm tonight. No opener. I might have to head over to the Spaceghostpurrp/Trash Talk show after if there's still some time.
edit: also, Earl is performing "Super Rich Kids" with Frank tonight. My first time seeing Earl perform anything. Hooray!

I haven't been to the Wiltern in a long time but I seem to recall a lack of reasonable parking options. Anyone have any tips on the best place to park?
If you look around the streets you'll be able to find something. Just give yourself about 20-30 minutes to have adequate time to circle. There's the lot, but it's pricy. I tend to get luckier heading into the neighborhoods just north of the venue.
BUT, if you're somewhere that the metro serves, the purple line drops across the street.
Nouvelle Vague performs Dawn of Innocence at Club Nokia on October 27th:
Surprised at the venue cause the last time they were here at the El Rey it wasn't even 1/3 full... but still... this is a great show, and sadly I will be out of town for this!
Gahhh Trash Talk tore it up. There were some seriously stupid fucking kids at that show tonight though.

with a "Carnival" in LA? Huh, sounds cool I guess.
Just picked up tickets to see Wilco in Palm Desert on Friday 9/28 and have tickets to see them at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday 9/30. Does anyone know of any good shows on 9/29 in the L.A. area? Pollstar isn't revealing too much yet.

Frank Ocean killed it. Prob the youngest crowd I've ever seen at the Wiltern or almost any show. Pyramids is absolutely a monster live. Prince cover to start off night and Earl Sweatshirt on Super Rich Kids. Solid show. I have to put him above The Weeknd now as far as new school r&b acts. Both guys have Drake jocking them. He was there last night as well.
Since The Mars Volta are basically done touring this is the closest we will get to a show like that.
