I couldn't even get close and it was still the loudest show ever. They actually gave out ear plugs at Roseland shows haha....wore them the first night. Second night, no ear plugs and it was beautiful! The floor was shaking especially the last 15 minutes of their set

Yeah, from what I've noticed it's only huge venues that do paperless (Staples, Hollywood Bowl).

Now that i think about it, it's been a long time since I've been to a huge venue for a show. Chem Bros at the Bowl probably.

I barely managed a few minutes into their set before I finally popped in my ear-plugs hah, but seriously, the intensity and scale of their sound....... a concert experience I will never forget in this lifetime for sure.

It sounds like a nice idea for fans, but I am skeptical ... I don't think any of those companies are really that big to have the luxury to withhold ticket sales. If you are an up and coming promotion company isn't an instant sell out the day you dream about? In any case I have my ticket so I hope they get fully organized and throw a great show, Anaheim is 10 minutes from my house so it will be cool going to a local show for once.

Spiritualized blew me away last night. "So Long You Pretty Thing" was so epic. They closed with "Cop Shoot Cop" and I swear they pushed it to well beyond 20 minutes. Also, I was not expecting visuals.

I can't wait to see them again at the Gorge.

We're going to head up to the mountains away from the marine layer to see the eclipse (it peaks at 6:30). We have to hike back down, then drive an hour and a half to Solana Beach. I'm hoping we can make it alright.
