If he does that, we'll all just have to go drink our sorrows away at the Beer Belly or some shit.

I mean, he cancelled a few, but that was also all around the same tour. I've seen him do three of these guerilla shows now, and I know that he's at least done another 10 that he didn't cancel. His track record for them is pretty good.

And if he mumbles something about requests, shout loud. He seems to have a grasp on pretty much his whole back catalog (E.G. playing Beercan AND Debra at one of the Echo shows based on fan requests) and he has asked for audience requests at every small show I've seen from him.

It would figure that the one day I decide to stay off FB/the board for a while in order to get work done that Beck would announce a show at the El Rey which would be sold out by the time I heard about it...

El rey is generally all ages. it's a great venue - very small, about 800 person capacity, great sound. You're in for a treat.

Dude you don't really have to line up, the place is small as it is and he doesn't really have a fan base that does that kind of shit... Just get there a little before doors and you should be able to walk right up to the front.

Thats what I was gonna do? I've been there before. I mention it so they can come meet up before doors open so no one is waiting around outside for each other.

I decided to pass on Beck even though I had a ticket up for it. I'd rather see Spiritualized twice. So there!

Just bought my ticket to Kurt Vile at the Largo, and will be getting a Joanna Newsom/Phillip Glass ticket. June is going to be a killer month.

Just bought a ticket for Spiritualized at the Belly Up. Unfortunately I'm currently listening an album of theirs for the first time. So I'm going to only listen to them until then.

Plan to get a ticket for Joanna Newsom/Philip Glass as well.

Kyle, even if you don't listen to them a bunch you're going to love the show. From all reports this tour has been pretty damn great so far.
