I know none of you give any fucks, but Say Anything had the best crowd of any the 100+ concerts I've been to. They took the band to a level I doubt they've ever been to before.

I'll say this, theyve probably been there, way before you even knew who they were.
Ive been listening to and seeing them since Is A Real Boy came out. I can't imagine their Baseball days were huge for them like that but I'll have to ask Tessa. Max being sober now and in a better place mentally has definitely changed the band.
O wait, you don't actually give a fuck you pompous ass. I'm ecstatic that we are both awake at this hour to have such an exchange. It's already made my day.
I'm not a big fan of their new albums but I see that they're still playing Belt and Admit It, so that's kinda tempting.
Yeah 9 out of 20 songs being Is/Was a real boy and the early EPs is pretty damn good for them just putting out their 4th album. Admit it>Admit it Again was a pretty awesome way to end a show.
I can't figure which ticketing system is shittier, Front Gate tickets that Coachella uses or Brown Paper tickets that the AV club uses.
I guess it boils down to, free or cheap or costly, all ticketing systems suck.

Seeing Bassnectar tonight. If he's on his game, I may go fucking nuts.
I was able to get into Transmission LA last night from the standby "GA" line. Arrived around 7:45 and got in the museum about 50 minutes later.

Yeah I think sometime during the 3rd album recording/tour he got off anti-depressents and went clean. Since he got married he's even been pretty open about his new found religious life which I guess has helped him most. You can hear a lot of those themes on the 4th record. It's great to see the change in his live performances. I remember he use to last out at fans that heckled him and was very standoffish on stage.
i've had tix to more than 1 say anything show that was cancelled cause he couldn't pull it together. glad he is healthy and happy now
A show with the Roots, Gary Clark Jr, Bobby Womack? seems like a great a great way to spend a day. How is that festival?

I was in the pit at the Greek last year for Beirut and Drinkey is right. The pit is really small, but if you really want to be on the rail, just show up around when doors open. Assuming you have a pit ticket that is...

It's an orchestra pit for a 6000 seat theater. The logistics for what you want are not there. It's not a rock concert venue.
