It's much punkier. Pretty cool he's touring this project, hasn't played it live in a while.

You'd probably enjoy the instrumentation more than Bright Eyes, but I would bet that it still wouldn't be your cup of tea.

Completely disagree with you here. I thought he started off shaky but got really really good about 3 songs in last time. By the end I was spellbound.

More dates please! Last time I saw them was at Irving Plaza for CMJ Saddle Creek showcase with Rilo Kiley, Cursive, The Good Life, Bright Eyes and Azure Ray in 2002. Then they cancelled Plea for Peace Tour with Cursive/Eastern Youth. Great to see them back again!

Plus, I can buy the ticket later because I doubt the Vegas show will sell out quickly.

That is a bit of a gamble. Like you say its a smaller capacity and Sat night, I've seen these sell out in Vegas. If they just use floor it is 1250 capacity, if they use the upstairs its 1750.
